One Vote for the Planet candidate standing in Hammersmith and Fulham elections

Business owner, environmentalist and NHS worker Alex Horn is contesting Palace & Hurlingham ward, in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, as an independent candidate promoting the One Vote for the Planet platform in the local elections on 5th May.

Alex works to promote the circular economy locally, including running the popular fixers repair workshops to help cut consumption. He also campaigns to reduce energy use.

“Evidence is growing that the Climate and  Ecological Emergency is causing dangerous and widespread disruption to nature and harming the  lives of billions of people around the World. There’s no time to lose if we want to prevent a  global disaster,” says Alex.

“Vote for me on 5th May. I promise to do all I can to hold Hammersmith and Fulham Council to its  pledge to cut carbon emissions and more, thereby truly becoming the greenest borough in  Britain.

“A reformation of our current system is essential – nothing less than a paradigm shift in behaviour, attitudes and action is required to address the climate crisis.”
